Lead Appraisers and Instructors must complete the Virtual Solution Delivery elearning course to deliver a remote appraisal or course.
Effective 1 April 2021, Virtual Solution Delivery is a required course and specialization for all new Lead Appraisers and Instructors.
This course will teach you how to become more proficient in delivering virtual solutions and operating effectively with a remote workforce, through an understanding of best practices, tools, and techniques for virtual business environments.
This elearning course is for anyone who delivers virtual solutions or has a remote workforce. This course will prepare you to deliver a virtual solution successfully, whether you need to set up something as complex as a sophisticated training program or as simple as a routine business meeting. The Virtual Solution Delivery techniques and best practices are based on research from years of industry data and experience. The course includes access to the CMMI V2.0 Virtual Delivery Toolkit, which includes checklists that provide industry best practices including virtual platform guidance.

- Identify best practices for planning and facilitating effective virtual delivery solutions, e.g., courses, appraisals, webinars, and meetings

- Understand and apply the practices, example activities and work products in the CMMI Enabling Virtual Solution Delivery (EVSD) Practice Area
- Identify common risks with virtual delivery solutions and understand how to mitigate those risks.
